New vs. Old Livestream Platform

At the time of this post, Livestream has not yet implemented some professional features into their new platform. We’re getting a sense they care more about expanding their viewer base through social-networking than supporting professionals looking to monetize their online video. This video tour shows off the “New Livestream” and “Livestream Studio Premium.” We produce many hours of content each week and we’re not yet ready to embrace the new thing just because it’s new. With YouTube Live nearly ready for release, it’ll be an easy choice.
