Livestreaming Conferences

The Challenge

Thousands of constituents International Baccalaureate events around the world, but there are countless more who are unable to attend conferences but would like to stay engaged. IB wanted to extend the reach of the conferences beyond the physical event attendees.

Our Solution

For the International Baccalaureate Conference of the Americas we streamed a variety of sessions live. The live streaming was also integrated into the conference app for attendees in the event they were unable to make it to some sessions.

The Results

Over 500 people from around the world took part in the conference as virtual participants. The success of the live streamed sessions will likely lead to more live streamed events and even larger IB member participation in future conferences, whether in person or online.
